Start with your priorities
A useful Umrah itinerary begins with your circumstances, not a fixed list of extras. Decide which matters most: the overall budget, a particular travel period, convenient flight times or the location of your accommodation. Write down any non-negotiable requirements before comparing options.
Choose the balance between two cities
Think about how many nights you would like in Makkah and how much time to set aside for Madinah. Allow for the arrival day, check-in times and the journey between cities. A seven-night stay and ten calendar days away are not necessarily the same thing; ask for every date to be set out clearly.
Compare the complete journey
Ask about direct or connecting flights, checked baggage, room occupancy, meals and transport. Confirm the exact hotel and room category rather than relying only on a star rating. Airport transfers, intercity travel and visits should each be shown as included, optional or excluded.
